Securing Nutrition and Ensuring Resilience/ POSHANAM

POSHANAM is a GIZ-funded program that aims to improve food and nutrition security and resilience of vulnerable groups, especially women of reproductive age and children (6-23 months). There are three main interlocking strategies of the project. Firstly, Improving knowledge, awareness, and practices of target households on diet diversity, Maternal child care, and WASH. Secondly, Improving the availability of nutritious food for women and their families. And lastly, Strengthening the nutrition Governance at the community level ( Nutrition sensitive Micro planning). This project is mainly focused on and implemented in Barwani District. The project is supported by BMZ/ GIZ and Welthungerhilfe.
