PAHAL JAN SAHAYOG VIKAS SANSTHAN is a professionally managed committed NGO active in capacity building of community and issue based networking. The primary focus of Pahal is the women and child rights to obtain a life of justice and dignity. Secure environment stabilization, gender equity and empowerment of the community for self-sustainability are the most important components of its mission. Gender justice, Women & Child health, and livelihood security are our primary areas of concern. PAHAL’S goal is to make discrimination free, violence free, fearless, healthy, beautiful, secure and an equitable society which ensures Livelihood opportunities and health for .
PAHAL JAN SAHAYOG VIKAS SANSTHAN has been working in Indore and Khargone districts since 2003. It has vast experience on working health and gender issues including gender based studies in the city of Indore, Barwani, Jhabua and Bhopal. PAHAL is currently working in Indore, Barwani and Alirajpur districts on gender equality, health, economic rehabilitation, Education, Child development, environmental awareness, water & sanitation. Beside these 3 districts of Madhya Pradesh PAHAL is also covering capacity building programs as a resource NGO for Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Tikamgarh, Panna, Chattarpur and Jhabua on gender,
Livelihood and ARSH issues. PAHAL also Act as a resource agency for various state and national level programs. The Organization is of international and national repute and recognized by Voluntary Support Organization (VSO International, UK) under International Citizen Services on ‘Secure Livelihoods through communication and gender participation’ and TISS, Mumbai and ISSW, Indore for deputing the post graduate students to learn and gain the skills of social development and complete the internship/field works.
