Program Objective (Brief Overview)
The objective of the centre is to provide accessible, affordable, and preventive primary healthcare services to vulnerable urban communities, while strengthening awareness on maternal, adolescent, and preventive health practices to improve overall community well-being.
Established in 2013, the Community Medical Centre has served as a trusted and accessible healthcare lifeline for marginalized urban families, ensuring consistent and affordable primary healthcare for over a decade.
The Challenge
Urban slum communities in Khajrana faced limited access to affordable and reliable primary healthcare services, leading to untreated illnesses, low preventive care uptake, and poor maternal and adolescent health awareness.
